Set#06581 arrived just now. Looks to be in good condition. All discs are correct, booklet has all of the correct pages. Single looks good.
I understand the point you're making, however, I was referring to issues with the sets themselves-Damaged boxes, the inner tray being busted up, missing a disc/two of the same disc while missing another, that type of thing...
I don't work there, but that could be due to something as simple as sections of stock having been sent to different distribution/fulfillment centers handling different geographic areas. This comes up in just about every thread about something that's a numbered edition.
No 06425 arrived today. Only 49 euros extra to the customs guys. Not too bad. Arrived in perfect condition. All discs present and correct. No problems with the booklet. Packaged well and no dinges or anything. But of course there's always something... in this case the labels on the single are on the wrong sides. I can live with that. Happy with this. Now... I hope I can get to watch it
Looks like another extract from the Blu-ray TV series disc. My favorite version; I think that the live one is pretty good too.
what another stash found at the Rhino warehouse again?? It says Out Of Stock at link though....what's going on Rhino.....? @Michael
You guys are about a month late: The Monkees complete TV show on Blu-ray box set. Some folks said they got an email, not sure if it was from Rhino or a Monkees mailing list... And yes it's BS, no reason a product like this should be out of print or limited.
And apparently one at a time; perhaps not being able to buy 10 at once (with a presumable outlay of over $2K or so) should’ve been a clue?
It was a win for me: I wasn't able to buy it when it originally was released, but I *was* able to buy it this time around... I bought a grand total of *one* copy, for my own personal use... I have no intention of flipping it or anything like that. That said, I *can* see why you feel the way you do, because I do in general as well... I just wanted to point out that not everyone who bought one this time around had dollar signs in their eyes or were circling the carcass.
