I haven’t read this whole thread so it might have been mentioned. Yes doing Simon and Garfunkel’s America. I always find it to be a wild ride. Very creative cover.

I had no idea this existed! Thanks!
Interesting to compare this to what Fripp recorded with Keith Tippett's group on Lizard.

Don't know how audacious this piano cover version of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" is, but I like it very much.

Tanya Tucker re-worked the 1977 Paul Davis song 'I Don't Want To Be Just Another Love' and released her energetic hit version for the country market as 'Just Another Love' nearly 10 years later.

Derek & the Dominoes rendition of Hendrix' Little Wing is pretty different from the original, making it their own memorable version.

I *love* this version of Space Oddity. It definitely turns the song inside out.
Most Bowie fans don't share my appreciation of this version. They don't like the idea of making a sad song into a happy one.

The percussion break at 2:55 is awesome (extra points for being performed in a bathtub with pots and pans). I could watch this all day long! I enjoy watching Chino create the bass drum effect using an upside down bucket.

Rage Against the Machine covering The Ghost of Tom Joad, a cover which, I think, stands alongside and compliments the original.

I had no idea he made records, only knew him as CEO of a pharmacy chain.

I've always though this version of The Guess Who classic was pretty audacious.
