I remember liking the petticoat Junction reruns as a kid. I recently streamed an episode. Boy, boring isn't a harsh enough description. I'm guessing I liked it as a kid because I was fantasizing about the girls swimming naked in the water tank.

Was gonna say....but if they were filming on the same lot, who knows? Maybe they both were, along with Hank Kimball, Mr Drysdale and Arnold Ziffel.

The Twilight is one of the greatest TV shows ever written, but... any of the "comedic" episodes really fail.

I’ve been catching a bit of Family Affair on the Decades channel and I like it better than I remember it. Brian Keith’s low-key delivery is a great balance to the excessively cute kids.

Just now I was curious to see if Kathy Garver has had a career since then, and looked her up on IMDB. Surprised to see that she’s got what seems to be a Family Affair revival/spin-off launching in less than a week from now, called “Aunt Cissy.” Very little info about it, but they have story titles and dates for six episodes, the first airing on January 23. (Elsewhere on the page it gives September 1 2019 as the original air date; can’t ‘splain that.)

When I was a kid we would watch the show on Saturday night when my favorite Aunt would visit. I'm sent back there when I watch.

Have to say, I liked the Johnny Cash drug trip episode, and the “Poochie” episode is a classic that gave us the TV trope parlance of a character who is a “Poochie”.

I grew up on The Simpsons (saw the first episode when it aired), and as late as college a gang of us would get together every Sunday night to watch it. At some point, post-2000 or so, South Park stole its crown, and then later Family Guy stole it from South Park.

Amazingly, all 3 shows are still airing after long ago running out of steam.

I love "The Prisoner", but I'd be lying if I claimed there weren't some interminably boring stretches in it.

Same for "Mission: Impossible". It can be super-cool or super-boring. Rarely does the twain meet.

I had forgotten the show existed until watching Community last year. They did an episode referencing the show.

In retrospect, I'd probably vote more lame than boring.

I never liked Dragnet and whenever I do run across it I instantly think of my grandma who loathed that show. I can still hear her now: "At 6:43 p.m. I opened the car door. At 6:44 p.m. I closed it."

Both shows of the 60s actually. (Unless you count the 70s animated incarnation of "Star Trek".)

It is one of my favorite shows of all time, my favorite is Season 3 through 5

It definitely is a slow paced show for the most part, however to me I found it riveting the entire way through. Following the characters through the '60's through each cultural landmark event, personal crisis, and relationship is really fantastically interesting.

And "Simpsons" is really a 90s show - only 1 episode aired in the 80s.

But hey, why stand in the way of a misguided rant due to technicalities?
