The most improved remasterings

    There is certainly room for improvement on these CD's. I recently picked up the Early Days and Latter Days compilations and found the sound to be better than the boxed sets or last individual cd's. I hear the Classic LP's are also quite good.

    I have the 30th Anniversary version of In the court of the Crimson King. Is that not taken from the original master?

    It's the best CD I've heard to date but it is a little murky in places - there was a fair amount of tape-to-tape bouncing involved.

    As an aside, I had the pleasure of seeing Greg Lake perform ITCOTCK last summer with Ringo's All Starr band. Ringo and Sheila E were on drums - fabulous!
