"The Name of This Band is Talking Heads" is the correct title.

One thing about the LP is that each side was recorded at a different time and place and the earlier the recording, the better the sound. The LP is a proxy for the Talking Heads entire recording career - their sound got worse with time. This whole album was analog. Side 1 of the LP, recorded in 1977, is arguably their best sound ever. The sound is live and very fast, with a bit too lean bass sound. Although the sound on the other 3 sides is okay, it's downhill from there.

The digital recordings the Heads made were to vomit to. As much can be said for most WEA recordings of the '80s - an unforgiveable sin. It is such a disappointment that the great music of "Stop Making Sense" had such crappy sound. I'd nominate this for "Worst Recording of the '80s."
