I just paid around $100 for mine and I'm thrilled. Sounds fantastic. I hate to ask what your thrift store copy cost! It's a thrill to run into something like that...congrats!

Is this thread the ONE album or all the gems in my collection?

Abbey Road Black Triangle CD. It’s the only item I have that is difficult enough to rebuy if sold, and difficult to sell at the price I would want for it . Not my most favourite Beatles album, but the one physical copy I can’t sell.

It's my absolute #1 favorite Glen Campbell
album. All of the songs are great! I know
these songs by heart & I know them by their
order on the album. This is always on my
iPod when I travel. I have two copies on CD
    & recently I got the 180 Gram vinyl LP.:righton:

A year or two ago, I bought the SHM-CD of that album which promised to use a perfectly flat transfer from the master tapes. Well,... once I got it, it sounded absolutely lifeless. Just dull. What happened to the highs? It was, as advertised, a perfectly flat transfer so no highs were applied as no real mastering had taken place. After cranking my Treble knob about 3/4 of the way, I was quickly able to address the problem... but it understandably doesn't sound as good as a well-mastered pressing, IMHO.

Nevertheless, my Audiophile Series vinyl pressing sounds sublime and that's what I now listen to regularly.

Maybe my Speakers Corner pressing of COTC for me... It'd be interesting to do a shootout, though. :)

I passed on the SHM Strat, because of the 'flat' being advertised I wasn't sure how better or different it would of been from the old US compact disc.

Put out by Cameron Crowe's weird little record company.
Very limited, now VERY expensive and I actually listen to it.
    I got it for free!

I think I'd sell any album for the right price. I don't own anything that is 1/1, so, theoretically, I could buy another copy. Some of my signed stuff, while it might be tuff to sell off, the right price as I said might do it.

An unusual choice, but definitely this one....Lee Ryan (Blue) first solo album.......the first album my kids bought me. Selected and paid for by themselves as a birthday present. For unknown reasons they thought of the selection available this was the one I would like best........

Psst.....by the way.....this is a simply fantastic incredibly underrated album.
