I searched the forum and didn't find any thread on this topic. My apologies to the gorts if this has been done before.

There's a lot of discussions on this forum involving vinyl playback. I thought it might be fun to 'see' what others are listening to vinyl on.

Here's mine: Basis Ovation with a Kuzma Stogi Tonearm, Benz Micro MC200 cartridge

It is pretty industrial looking. It weighs in around 110lbs. It sounds great and was built about 20 miles from where I live, here in NH, USA. I got this turntable from a friend who went to a Clearaudio Maximum Solution. I gush over this thing but I am experiencing vinyl like I never did with my previous turntable.

That's an LED LittleLite set on red. It's actually a pretty nice light, and it doesn't suck much juice...

Here's a picture of one of mine ...

It's a Thorens TD125 mkII with SME 3009 II tonearm and a custom plinth:

It looks awesome with the light - put a blue light under it and it would go great with McIntosh gear at a fraction of the cost of the McIntosh turntable ... hmmm

Turntables are sexier when they got records on 'em.

I'm almost tempted to post a picture of my 1970's Pioneer PL-12D. :)

Man, I just dunno that I'll ever be able to afford fancy rigs like these...

Please do. The PL-12D was my first hi-fi turntable and I still have very fond memories of it. In fact, the PL-12D sounded better than the JVC and then Yamaha 'tables I replaced it with.

A turntable doesn't have to sell for big bucks to be cool.

  25. Man, compared to what I'm seeing here (and on the other "full system" thread) I don't even have a turntable!
