I gave it to my wife for a Christmas present when it first came out. I though the book was quite nice but it's been years since we even touched the box as we listen mostly to the vinyl versions when we want to hear Pink Floyd.
A reminder. July 1st will see the release of a new Pink Floyd book: Pink Floyd: Scandinavia 1967-1972 (Unseen Nordic Archives) https://www.amazon.com/Pink-Floyd-S...rds=Pink+Floyd&qid=1593366182&s=books&sr=1-10 Pink Floyd : Scandinavia 1967 - 1972 Pink Floyd: New Book with Previously Unseen Concert Photos (1967-1972), coming in September 2019
Like this post if you were hit in the head by Steve Distanislao's drumstick at the end of a David Gilmour show in São Paulo in 2015.
Roger is still Roger, Dave is still not here, man. Since embarrassing myself in person asking a redundant question to Mr. Waters I have yet to return to Floyd fandom.
I still have it, though I haven’t looked at it in ages. At the time, I loved it. I basically dove in head first once I realized I was bound to pick up their whole catalog, so I got that set after I think just having the Wall and AMLoR. The book was great and informative, but it’s long since been surpassed by the various art books and bios over the years. It was also a bit scattershot, since the set didn’t even have certain albums. Certainly not definitive.
David has a new song included in Polly Samson's audiobook. It's very sweet. More like a home demo, but nice nevertheless. I'm not sure this works but you can try downloading it here 31. Yes, I Have Ghosts.wav
I am hoping the first announcement on this thread is the releases of Meddle, Obscured and Animals in 5.1... and an announcement the The Final Cut 5.1 is on its way.... Yes I dream
Would also love to see a release of a '77 show (Oakland sounds great IMO) BBC Sessions esp. 70 & 71 Live at Wembley 1974 I know the last two are available on the Early Years box, but they deserve a standalone release!
Caught Roger live twice in 2017. It reawakened my love for Floyd big time. The best sounding live music I’ve ever heard. Visuals were incredible, too.
