This wasn't done by a major studio. Unbelievable
Very hilarious and impressive. Given that Jim has been impersonating Jack for ~4 decades, I had difficulty discerning Jim from Jack. And the Midnight, Stars and You was a nice touch.
Looking forward to future clips.
Deepfake, and a damn good one. Wonder what this technology portends?
AND, from what I read in a Reddit thread about this very clip -- this was all done with free software you can download, and use at home (without any specialized equipment, or heavy-duty computing power).
Jim Carrey is a fantastic talent and the clip is testament to that...but I still fail to see the point.
A tech demo.
I thought it was possible in major blockbusters, only. Eg, that "Fast & Furious" movie where they used Paul Walker's face on other stand-ins after his death.
Maybe one day they'll be able to superimpose Connery's face on Lazenby's body to create the ultimate "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
I thought it was Bill Murray as the clip began. Never noticed that resemblance before.
What was his latest movie?
so that's what happened to him? LOL...
This was done to an extent with Star Wars. The battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader.
Not as creepy as the original but impressive. Be interesting to see where the technology goes.
Check on IMDb.
So, wait...wtf did I just watch here? Haha!
Is that Jim Carrey's face and voice on Jack's body, or was it all Carrey, or was Carrey never involved and they just took his face and put it on Jack's face?
Okay that is just creepy AF
Seems no theatrical releases since 2016.
How I wish this was the case, but...

If this is me finally seeing what a deep fake looks
Like. .... I’m not impressed. The top half of the face is Carrey and the bottom Nicholson. Didn’t look real at all since I know both so well. It Just Looks phony, like a phantom of the opera half mask. .
Must be easier when the faces are similar
And they can half Match them Up.
We're rapidly approaching the face changing technology used in the film The Running Man, where the bad guys wanted to kill off the good guy, and superimposed his face on another person - and killed him.
Thanks for nothing!
That's how to get the answer. Much faster than asking and waiting. Ir do you need everything spoonfed to you?
Check out the series "Kidding"
I love being spoonfed!
