    The appearance of Ed Bruce in the Bear Family Records thread yesterday reminded me of this -

    I'm Getting Better' (his recording from a 1968 LP; first issued as a 1967 B-side on his version of 'Last Train to Clarksville')


    First released version by Jimmy Hughes on Fame Records (1964)

    The latest Carole demo to turn up on YT. The Goffin - King song was released on several B-sides; first by the Righteous Brothers in 1966 (A-side - 'On this Side of Goodbye'); and later in 1967 by Ben E. King (A-side - 'Tears, Tears, Tears'); and in 1969 by the Monkees (A-side - 'Tear Drop City'). There was also a version on the "Now that everything's been said' LP by the City with a lead vocal by Danny Kortchmar.
