Congratulations on the one five.

15 years is an achievement in the internet world and this forum has endured.

What impresses me is the diversity of views which keeps things interesting and I guess, attracts new members. Even if one doesn't agree with the views of a particular post or thread, it is great to be challenged through different tastes in music and on matters of audio, though the vinyl vs CDs threads go on and on...

So cheers to 15 years and the next 15 years.

 

Wow, now I feel old too. I moved over here from the old DCC board.

Congrats, Steve! Happy Anniversary to the boards! That's a major achievement for any non-ad supported message board given such a highly competitive web environment. You must be doing sumthin' right.

I just realized I have been here almost 10 years!
I was a young pup back then, I hadn't even finished my studies! This forum is part of the reason I became a mastering engineer.
So thank you forum for the inspiration.

 

I'm relatively new here, but this is a great board and congratulations to everybody who is making it a good place.

 

I really like the new masthead. Makes us look spiffy heading into 2017! Thanks to everyone behind the scenes and the members for making this forum a great reference for gear and recorded music.

This is my favorite place on the web. I visit here more than I visit xhampster.

 

These forums are the closest thing to home on the internet.

Congrats and thanks to the team that keeps this place possible.

 

Congratulations! I've been here for over 10 of those years, and the amount of information I've learned, and number of online friends I've made here have been incredible.

A few years ago, I became disabled. I deal with severe pain on a daily basis. This place, in its own way, somehow helps me deal with some of that pain. The Listening To On Vinyl thread is a place where friends just hang out and play records. Just like back in the day. It's been one of the best ways for me to put my issues aside for a bit, and get lost in the music. So, I thank you for that.

So, here's to the next 15 years of analog vs digital, Mac vs PC, Vinyl vs CD, and who does or doesn't belong in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Seems I made my first post here in November 2013 and it has to be said, this is pretty much the only forum left on the internet that I actually use! Still feel like a noob compared to the real long-termers around these parts!

I've enjoyed the informative threads, the fun threads, the outright stupid threads and the incessant stream of vinyl vs CD, analogue vs digital, Beatles vs everyone else threads...

See, in reality, I don't really know anyone that is all that interested in music, masterings, recordings, so this place is a haven where I can indulge in my passions with people that share those interests!

Here's to another 15 years filled with 90% of Beatles-related posts, and the magical 10% I'm actually interested in! I jest, I jest!

(PS: I'm sorry about the 'Lou Reed said The Beatles are garbage thread... )

 

To borrow heavily from Tina Turner, this forum is

"Simply The Best."

Period.
