I thought this was pretty interesting.

In the late '70s, the Rotters issued a DIY punk single: Sit On My Face Stevie Nix (sic)

The best part was really the title. But I guess it really pissed of member(s) of Fleetwood Mac, who managed to have it banned, along with the group.

Here's the story, straight from a member of the band:

  3. That whole site is pretty interesting for punk rock geeks; too bad it hasn't been updated in about four years!

I have this single! It is a first pressing, since it only says "Banned" in the corner, not "in LA.". Guess I heard it on KROQ before it was banned and went out and bought it. According to the record, the song was written by Phester Swollen. The b-side is "Amputee".
