Count me in. I've got the entire DVD collection. You can't beat the team of Loy and Powell. Great scripts and fabulous chemistry between the stars. I wish they would put these out in high def.

Huge fan, but mostly of the first three which Dashiell Hammett actually had a hand in writing. The later ones get stretched pretty thin (so to speak).

Long overdue for the restoration/Blu-ray treatment.

This would also be one for Hollywood to revive.

I dig them too. Huge fan of a lot of TCM movies anyway, and it's one of the few that my girlfriend actually likes that is on that channel, but she is warming up a little to Jimmy Stewart too...

For a minute I was afraid there's a remake. Not to rain on anyone else's parade, but I can't stand remakes.

A few years ago I heard they were planning a revival with Johnny Depp.

About 20 years ago Kevin Kline would have been a great choice for Nick. Not sure who would be good today.

Love them, just fun movies that make you smile. I've always had a thing for Myrna Loy too, what a beauty and fine actress.

Great movie series with each film being of high quality. There were only six of them, but they came out over a 14 year period or so. I like how they allowed the characters to age and Nick Jr got appropriately older.

    As for remake: please, no.

We sat down one evening to watch one of the Thin Man movies with our then young kids. Nick and Nora are awakened in the middle of the night by something or another and immediately pour themselves a drink and light up a cigarette...SMH!

I am a fan. Great storytelling and great chimistry between the two leads.
