"Dirty Work" is the best tune on that record. And there are only a couple of less than good tunes on it, despite its undeserved reputation.
This is another example of a thread titled wrong. I don't understand why people do it. The title should be the title track is your least favorite song on the album. That way its a matter of fact and nothing to argue about. Someone on this thread tried to say that Emotional Rescue is a worse song than Send it to Me. Start Me Up is by far my least favorite song on Tattoo You. That song came out in 1981 and I have hated it since 1982.
Oh, that one the Beatles did, how did it go.... "I've got a rubber sole on my left shoe And a rubber sole on my right one too The management won't let you bowl Unless you're wearing rubber soles..." (Apologies to Mr. Yankovic, whose joke I just stole. )
Little Feat's 'Down On the Farm' is worth it only for the opening bit of Lowell George arguing with a bullfrog; the rest of the song is pretty lame. (Not that the rest of the album is much better...)
"Driving Rain"- Paul McCartney I'm a big champion of that album, but not that song. And, for the record,, I'd say that "Driving Rain" & "Freedom" are about on the same level for me.
