Well, judging by the lack of posts on this thread, the first episode was not as 'thrilling' as we might've hoped, BUT........ I just saw episode 2: "The Doctor Is Sin" on the Adult Swim web site today, and...WOW!!! This one episode could've been padded to a whole SEASON, it's that good! Don't believe me? Go to the site, and see for yourself!
'The Doctor is Sin' was a fantastic episode! Also, 'Shadowman 9...' is definitely one of those episodes that sets up sooo many other great episodes. 'Shadowman 9...' is the critical piece in the Jenga puzzle.
So far, I like what I have seen in the episodes. "The Doctor Is Sin" was excellently done; Dr. Killinger and his black murder bag is one of my favorite characters in the series.
I LOVE MEIN JOB! Sorry, I just had to repeat it. It's such an awesome phrase. I damn near wet my pants when I saw Doctor Orpheus dressed as eurotrash.
What WAS being sampled when he opened his 'magic murder bag'? It sounded like the piece they use in "Election" when Tracy Flick saw the poster, and went all 'ape-s*%t'!
Episode 3 is up at the Adult Swim site..... and THIS ONE'S GREAT, TOO!!! I tell ya', these guys sure can PACK an episode! THey rip through SO MANY GOOD IDEAS, I hope they don't burn out! This one sees the return of the 'Hunter S. Thompson' look-a-like, AND he mention the BULDIBURG GROUP! Considering they had their meeting last week, it's nice to know SOMEONE on TV had the cojones to mention them!
Not sure if I want to post anything close to spoilers but it's a good episode; answer many questions about ancillary characters in the series. Favorite Hunter quote: "when God crapped out the 3rd caveman, a conspiracy was born against the other one."

Gotta re-watch the latest episode. I had taped it and my daughter had some friends over and they wanted to watch it. So, I couldn't catch everything with a bunch of teens in the same room yattering to each other. Looked like another good one - and unique.
I already saw the new episode airiring tonight on AdultSwim. Every season has a stinker and tonight, this is it.
I've been noticing weirdness with the sound mix on the show ever since last season. The dialogue track is buried, more often than not. Anyone else catching that? I don't think they have the problem on the DVDs, and I don't notice it on any of the other [as] shows either...
