I've enjoyed many videos from the community over the years. I am thinking of creating my own soon, just trying to figure out an angle that hasn't been done to death.
That was my thing, just trying to figure out what hasn't been done over and over. My angle is doing one video per week featuring a rare or special pressing I own, then the other video is a fun topic to (hopefully) get people talking.
New video. I thought it would be fun to talk about great audiophile pressings that you don't have to hit the after market for.
Still putting up new videos every Thursday and Saturday, but trying not to just spam the board with every single one of them. I haven't posted one in a bit, so here's the latest:
I put out a new video on some Sam Cooke live albums the other day, but here's my latest discussion topic:
Hey all. Just posted a video this morning I made after gathering together the record collection of my late friend Coleman who passed away last month. We were friends for 48 years. He was a long time Hoffman Forum member : @chacha RIP my friend
For me, that's my only option. We do not have a local record shop anymore. So Walmart & Target are all I have (and Amazon). Never been disappointed by anything I bought from those 3. I wish we did have a local shop, I'd go every weekend!
I think a lot of people don't even think about that. In the end, I'm just happy when anyone supports music. If you had a local shop and could go there, great. But since you don't have that option, people should just be happy that you're still buying vinyl IMO
