Uncle Remus is out to the forz which is rather roomy.

DQ: Where do you rank this in the Zappa/Mothers discography?

    R1: Excentrifugal Forz
    R1: Uncle Remus

This is among my favourite zappa albums. I like a ton of Zappa stuff across all his years, but the seventies is my favourite period

The title track doesn't do much for me.

DQ: I like Apostrophe, but it feels more middle of the pack for me. I personally prefer all of his 60s albums, all of the Flo & Eddie albums (probably in a minority here), Roxy, One Size Fits All, and Bongo Fury (my personal favorite). Apostrophe is in a mid-level group for me with Overnight Sensation, Zoot Allures, Sheik Yerbouti, and Joe's Garage. I like it better than everything starting with Tinseltown Rebellion.

Hard to choose between the different segments of the opening track.

DQ: I own or am familiar with about 6 or so FZ albums and they're varied enough that I have a tough time ranking them.

Uncle Remus. Really. This is over before it got started. Forget it.

Actually, it was an overstatement - trying to count the albums I realise it belongs to my top20 Zappa albums.

I missed the start of this and you've all knocked my favourite track out - Uncle Remus :yikes:
