The Who's Tommy, Quadrophenia films and The Kids Are Alright versions

    I don’t think a dvd version of McVicar was ever released in the U.S.! I don’t think the movie was even shown in my area. I eventually rented a vhs copy and transferred it to a dvdr.

    Looks like you were right.

    Only a region 2 [Europe] was made available in 2004.

    Whilst early VHS versions of TKAA were cut down, early VHS' of Quadrophenia also had a missing scene of Jimmy in his wet Levi's watching The Who perform AAA on RSG.

    A little trivia here...

    The scene in Tommy where Oliver Reed is aboard a yacht with some Page 3 lovelies is one my family's old company built.

    A Fleur De Lys yacht.
