Last year when we moved I finally got rid of all my VHS tapes. The really cool ones I found good homes for. I figured there’s enough stuff on YouTube to watch but certain things you can’t find anywhere except bootlegs and the like.
    Here’s my list:
    20 Years of Jethro Tull
    The Compleat Beatles
Bill (the Mickey Rooney TV movie about William Sackter)

    What’s your list?

I kept my VCRs and VHS and Beta tapes. Why get rid of stuff that works?

I've got a lot of "film noir" VHS tapes I used to record a couple of decades ago from "Ted Turner TV" including some "colourised." I play some occasionally on my Sony Android TV, but it's noticable how poor the picture quality compairs with HD.

If these films get repeated (and many have not yet and some may never will be), I re-record them on a Humax FVP so I can dump the VHS.

And as a former smoker, I hope we never see the day again where people smoke in hospitals, or buses, or theaters, or workplaces. Even when I smoked, I was always very careful not to do so in places like those.

That's probably true these days - they used to go damn-near hand in hand. Without getting on a soapb0x, I can say though I enjoyed the camaraderie that went with using those toxins, I can't honestly say I miss the actual drink and tobacco. I felt much better physically when I laid off them both as a regular indulgence.

My parents didn't smoke but I had many aunts and uncles and older cousins who did before I took up the habit.
When we'd get together for family functions the house we were in would be filled with smoke, obviously so, a thick cloud of it.
But you never heard anyone say anything about it other than a suggestion every couple of hours that someone should open a window.

it's like a dream...a good dream. It all seemed so normal...and actually IMO it was....I know of not a single soul who died of second hand smoke...

Getting back to the VHS category: I don't think Mark Burnett's original Eco-Challenge races were released in any other format.

MTV had a “Pink Floyd Weekend” around the time of the release of AMLOR and I tried and tape a bunch of it. There was one documentary that was Gilmour’s About Face tour, if I recall. I don’t think I will see that again either.

    Cars that aren't computers.
I just heard on the news that KIA/Hyundai is recalling a half million cars because a bug in the computer now is causing them to flash left turn signals when the driver chooses the right turn signal, and vice versa. What The Heck? Why are turn signals controlled by the computer? And what kind of buggy programming is now several years later reversing the signals?

There was a sequel movie to 'Bill', wasn't there? I think it was called 'Bill: On His Own'?

Anyway, I can't think of any specific titles, but I imagine there's a boatload of "B" horror/slasher films that will never be available except on old VHS (and Beta) tapes.
