After reading this thread I'm guessing we will never get to see "Smokey IS the Bandit".

 

Well, that one is in a Universal vault rather than a Gleason vault, so that's a different situation. But with the near death of physical media, a super deluxe supreme double secret complete "Smokey" box with "IS" as the bait for all the possum's peckers who already bought these movies multiple times over seems like less and less of a possibility each year. A complete lack of respect for the law.

 

I heard that in 2001, when the Hallmark Channel was supposed to air the Color Honeymooners only for them to change their their decision, they were going to air a special where they were going to show the short color sketches. Now, i know that Time Life has since than released seven of the short sketches. But, I wonder if Hallmark had intentions of airing Incredible World as part of the special. If they did, how were they going to go about airing this special?
