What's the real story?

 

Well, it's still a boot, just probably pressed at a real CD plant. I was under the impression that one couldn't decode Quad from a CD...true? untrue?

 

Well I suppose you could, but who (except Jon) has the real matrix decoder? Heck, the SACD is 5.1.... But there's the Q8 that was hand-mastered to DTS too. The artwork was well done, but that's about it. Not only a bootleg, but guaranteed to be terrible.

 

I am sure that it is a "home made" job using silver printable surface CD-Rs and a color ink jet or laser printer. Silver CD-Rs are easy to get nowadays.
