I rented a theatre for it. AMC is increasing prices but it's still better than catching COVID from a rando. Only COVID from friends for me, thank you.
It depends on the size of the screen/number of seats; a small one, about 130 seats, about €500 a medium sized one 200-250 seats can be had for €800-900. But of course you can have only a small mount of guests; usually no more than 30-35 people. A colleague of mine rented one for a kid's B-Day, IIRC it was a Pixar film. This is an articole about US cinemas Miss going to the movies? Rent your own theater. It's cheaper than you think
For the matinee show at the AMC theater I rented it is $249 and allows up to 20 guests. The same screen goes to $659 for the 4pm showing but allows up to 40 guests. It used to be $199 - I rented it for The Batman and for Dr. Strange 2.
Thor: Love and Thunder First Reactions: Wacky, Surprisingly Moving, and Possibly One of the Best Marvel Movies Yet << Rotten Tomatoes – Movie and TV News
Thor reviews are coming in, currently at 71% on Rotten Tomatoes (151 reviews). Opinions are extremely varied. Thor: Love and Thunder
Lots didn’t like Ragnarok ( initially ). Also wasn’t popular here… though I believe that opinion has changed.
For me, it's HORRIBLE! Except for the first 40 minutes of the very first Thor movie, they've all been HORRIBLE! Thor should be a SERIOUS, HARDCORE, NO-NONSENSE BATTLE READY WARRIOR! His movies should be SERIOUS and have the SAME TONE as movies like GLADIATOR, TROY, even 300! His CIRCUMSTANCES, SITUATIONS, ENCOUNTERS, and ADVENTURES should NEVER EVER be COMEDIC OR FUNNY! It's so sad, they've taken a great character and turned him into a COMPLETE JOKE!
I will admit we haven't seen that in the MCU yet and it would be fun. But it's not what we're getting, particularly with Taika Waititi at the helm. Not sure anybody rocks up to the theatre to see the newest superhero flick to then see a dark and gritty war film. Let Zak Snyder loose under Marvel and see what happens, I suppose
