Had a couple of listens to Love over the weekend -- during "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," where do the vocal responses in the chorus come from? It's the "waaa waaa" echo sound after each "Lucy in the sky with diamonds."
    Sounds like Paul. :hide:

Are you talking about the clavioline from "Baby You're A Rich Man?"

Or do you mean the standard "ahhhhhhhh" that is present in the original mono and stereo mixes?

I own it, but I do not like it.

OK, it could be the clavioline -- didn't consider that it was a keyboard rather than a human voice. It's the echoing response to each of the regular chorus lines. I love it and think it improves the song. I'll have another listen tonight. Thanks.

Really? It's so obvious! Just listen to the first 20 seconds of Baby You're a Rich Man and there it is.

I really like it and it kind of got me back into listening to the Beatles which I hadn't done for a long time. I really enjoy the orchestra on while my guitar, and the selections of bits of recorded tracks is excellent.

    I dig the Beatles Love.

Get Back and Hey Jude are my favorite mixes. I wish the 2015 1+ remixes sounded like the Love mixes. The drums on Get Back are clearer and more present - and so the song just flies - on Love. Would love to see a Love boxset with all the songs de-mashed.

It’s the best sounding Beatles related release ever IMO. It’s the first and last good Beatles remixes Giles Martin has done.

How 'bout A Day In The Life, Walrus (true stereo all the way through) and Here Comes The Sun??? And All You Need Is Love sounds better than anywhere else, IMO.

The Beatles "album" I listen to when I can't decide what I actually want to listen to.

I'll also echo what several others have said--easily the best-sounding version of I Am The Walrus out there. The clarity and separation is amazing.

    I dig Love!

So, I suggest that they give Giles a studio full of Beatles solo tapes, and ask him to create Love 2!!!

I think Love is awesome. It reawakened my fondness for The Beatles. After not listening to them for some time due to overexposure, Love really brought the songs back to life for me. They did an incredible job in making the old songs seem brand new again. I still listen to it roughly once a month which is fairly often for me.

The Love Here Comes The Sun is gorgeous - it'd be #1 for me if it there was a no-mash-up iteration. Still great, though. All You Need Is Love? My go-to has always been the 1999 Yellow Submarine songtrack version. Now you've given me homework - I'll compare to the Love version this weekend. And Walrus in true stereo? I was unaware, so will review the others as well, thanks!

There are true stereo mixes of "Walrus" on the MMT DVD/Blu-ray, Love, Rock Band, and the Anthology DVD, but frustratingly, all of them have shortened or crossfaded endings, and the Love and Anthology versions have overdubs on the intros, so we still don't have a start-to-finish true stereo "Walrus" that plays cleanly all the way through. The closest one is the MMT video, on which the only addition is wind noise over the fade.
