Well, if daytime TV were better......

BTW, I fully expect that the mono mastering on WHERE ARE YOU will be well done based on how well SINGS FOR ONLY THE LONELY turned out.

It does seem strange having a credit for Gordon Jenkins first even though the Sinatra credit is larger I wonder what the thinking was behind this.

I like the Original Master Recording banner. It makes it look important.

Acoustic Sounds is showing October 30 for the LPs and November 30 for the SACDs. Since the latter is not a Tuesday, that may just be an end-of-the-month guess. Music Direct says only October and November, which is what Nancy Sinatra estimated in her most recent SFF announcement.

I pre-ordered all of the SACD's. I have No One Cares in Mono on vinyl and Swingin Sessions! in stereo on vinyl and I have this UK import of the Where Are You? vinyl from the 80's which I think is probably digital based. Have never heard the mono of Where Are You? if its like the Only The Lonely album from a couple years ago then it should be awesome. I freakin love side A of theat album :)

I'm torn. I don't know which version to get, LP or SACD? As of now, I have none of the current MoFi offerings. I'm a bit of a stickler for consistency, so it bugs me that Nice 'n Easy and Only The Lonely are gold CDs and not SACDs. That makes me lean towards getting the LPs. But I also can't pass up Sinatra finally available on SACD! What to do???

I emailed MoFi customer service this weekend and asked if there were any plans to rerelease Nice 'n Easy and Only The Lonely as SACDs. Their reply:

    Bummer!

I know I should be happy with the recent announcement of 3 more Sinatra MoFi SACD's, but I'm greedy :)

All of the SACD's are listed as coming out on the 30th of November. I think sooner for the vinyl.

I've just gone through two copies of MFSL's new version of Weezer's blue album. I won't try again. Distortion and excessive pops/clicks on side 2, right channel, for both copies. If this is any indication of MFSL's current QC standards, then I'll be going the SACD route for these Sinatra treats.
