The song also mentions Anthony Eden. Not a clue!

I think The Kinks probably fare the worst with the number of songs which are firmly stuck in their own time zone. A lot of Muswell Hillbillies is about the then current issue of knocking down houses and building high rise flats which was happening in the early seventies.

Of course, something like Apeman just seems to become more and more relevant.

From Herman's Hermits - No Milk Today (1966)

No milk today it wasn't always so
The company was gay we turn'd night into day
As music played the faster did we dance
We felt it both at once the start of our romance
For the younger people here, there was a time when "gay" meant "happy", and when a milkman used to come knocking every morning :D

I don't know to what extent CB culture still exists among truckers or to what extent the lingo has changed, but certainly CB culture as a popular fad is long past its short life in the mid to later 70s, so the vast majority of younger folks wouldn't have the faintest idea what C.W. McCall is singing about in "Convoy":

My best friend's mom was British and she patiently explained all the references to me when I got the LP in the early 70s.

Since somebody already mentioned "Video killed the radio star" I will mention & share "Don't know much about history" which has a line that says "Don't know what a slide-rule is for". I didn't know what a slide-rule was until I asked an older person as we never used them when I was at school.

There's also "Penny Arcade". The cheapest machines now cost 2p.

The song "Where Are They Now?" on "Preservation , Act 1" is precisely about nostalgia and the short shelflife of celebrity/fame but the thing that gets me about the track is that, Ray Davies wrote it in 1973/4 about the 1960s.

"Beep Beep," the novelty song by The Playmates, describes a "race" between a Cadillac and a Nash Rambler. The latter make and model has been gone from the scene since 1955.

In addition, in the song's denouement, the narrator describes this action:

The fella rolled down his window
And yelled for me to hear
Hey buddy how do I get this car out of second gear?

While cars with manual transmissions are still available, when's the last time any model was made with windows that one has to crank up and down (as opposed to operating them with the push of a button)?

You need to travel more. I spent some time waiting to hear from a friend of mine who went to one of the less stable parts of Libya.

Not only do letters still exist, but calculators are still used by cashiers (mainly restaurants I guess?)

Someone mentioned Weird Al's UHF, but I'd say that all of Al's TV songs (aside from possibly Isle Thing) are pretty much tied to when they were released. This includes The Brady Bunch (1984), Cable TV (1985), I Cant Watch This (1992), Syndicated Inc. (1996), Jerry Springer (1999), and Couch Potato (2003).

We just signed up for a local dairy's delivery service. It's the only way you can get their milk, buttermilk, etc.

I know I read an interview with John Wetton where he claimed 82 was the name of a club. Might have been a bit of retconning.

A slight but distinct differentiation -
The written letter seems to be a lost art.

Emails, Texting, Messaging, Tweeting, Social media posts having taken precedence over the written letter, never sent.

I'm sharing "Wee China Pig" by the Alexander Brothers which is about old hot water bottles which used to be made of China (not piggy banks which some people would think). You normally only see them in museums now.

You've reminded me of "Piggy Bank Love" by the Bonzos which contains the following lines:

"She runs a Green Shield library
    Saves everything she's got
    For her wedding day
    Save all day, that's okay"
