We've been down the middle of this road a few times in the past. . .

Has the time finally come for this mythical lost album?

What exactly do we know about this and what should we expect?

We seem to have headed for the ditch on the last known potential release date: Neil Young News: Neil Young Release Schedule For 2021 & 2022: TENTATIVE* DATES**

Like with all unreleased albums, I find I get wrapped up in the mythology more than the album itself if I ever get to hear it.

Too many to list apparently, but I have been thoroughly impressed with the ones he’s already released. He has so much coming this year it’s frightening. Including Archives Volume 3.

But Toast is the only batch of songs that's completely unreleased (save for one), yes?

So I’m assuming the photo shows the defunct Toast studio on Mission in SanFrancisco where the recording was done. The only place I’m seeing this art is in a Thrasher’s Wheat story, which leads me to wonder — official proposed art or fan-made?

Although Of late Neil has been pretty generous with his Archive releases and that’s everything from ArchivesII to the Summer Songs or the live shows on his Archive site. When it comes to Neil and his release dates, patience is a virtue and I wouldn’t hold my breath. The releases will come out when they come out.

to me it looks like three slices of bread (windows at top) popping out of the heating elements (the Grill Fencing on the ground below)

but some say I did way too much acid in my youth

Several of the Toast songs were re-recorded for Are You Passionate though.

Boy, if we started a thread about every album he's claimed to be coming out over the last several years we'd have to erase a bunch of Beatles threads to make room.

Have the original versions leaked? If so are there substantial differences?
