I like this list but I’ll substitute out “Fast and Furious” for “There Will Be Blood”, “Uncut Gems” for “Revolver” and “No Country for Old Men” for “Gladiator”.

 

Before I comment I will let you spot your mistake with the date with one of your films.

 

Uncut Gems is 2019. I’d probably put There Will Be Blood and NCFOM in my top 15 or 20.

 

Ooops! My bad on “Uncut Gems”.

 

The real news about 2000-2010 was the revolution in quality TV series spearheaded by HBO and Sopranos. This overshadowed movies, but yes there were some great ones, mostly by the Coen bros and Nolan bros, but The Counterfeiters is one of the best foreign films. Also, I think Prestige is vastly underrated and probably among the greatest films ever made.
