Make sure you bring some boiled sweets when you visit the rest home.

She was probably a BBC staffer. They often peopled the audience with young, hot staff members back then. The fact that she was present so many times points toward this being a very real possibility. It isn’t particularly easy to get into the audience of popular TV shows on a regular basis.

The same still holds true for things like Later ... with Jools Holland. I’ve been in the audience for that show a couple of times, and I really had to pull strings in order to be there for the artists I wanted to see. You can apply for tickets way in advance, but you won’t know who’ll be appearing, and it’s a lottery if you’ll even be successful.

As I think of it, age doesn't really mean anything.

You may as well fixate on someone like Judy Garland back in 1939 as someone who is a famous actress today.

You will likely have just as much chance of getting a date.

Statistically speaking, you would have a slightly better chance of getting a date with someone who is alive today. But that is only statistically speaking.

I hate to disagree with your reasoning, but I think I have a better chance of getting a date with dead Judy Garland than I do with a live Jennifer Lawrence.

Those camera men wouldn’t get away with all that upskirting malarkey in today’s world.

But as it was 50 years ago the era of classic albums ..music per se. It’s best valued from a historic perspective.

There were worse things going on in the studio than that, especially when Savile was presenting.

Nah, I get it, the "who's that girl?!" thing in old music dance show videos, etc...

I was struck by the petite dancer girl in this "Finders Keepers" video.
She's the smallest one who appears 4th in the intro scroll, and throughout the video you can tell she was probably trained as a dancer or ballerina, but somehow ended up in this gloriously choreographed mess...
(This was "Pan's People" TOTPs/BBC Dancers, circa 1973)

I see YouTube has complete TOTP episodes wouldn’t be surprised if they where uploaded by BBC cameramen /staff.

They never uploaded the unedited: "The Sweet - Blockbuster" Gay Hitler episode, alas...

(The BBC has done a massive dump of archival material up on YT these past couple years...)

Maybe not quite a date, but you might stand a chance getting closer to her?
