I think they taught her the 3 Rs, if there was time after the lesbian drummers had finished their drum sessions.

I'm sure he meant the US form of Public, which mean the regular government run schools

Congratulations on raising your child the way you did, I wish we had more parents like that in the US

Is there any way we can get Julie Andrews removed from Torn Curtain and replaced with someone hotter? She and Paul Newman have zero chemistry.

Let's reinstate the Bernard Herrmann score also.

I've been trying to get my head around the U.S. education system and to be truthful it's very different in some ways, I was very confused by the term public school before.

However it does seem the that the issues I mentioned are covered in some schools and being nice to each other, is the underlying principle, explaining why you'd have comparative religion, sexuality etc.

That's if I've made some sense of your system.

:agree:, I think it's a good example though, although I remember very little of the film apart from it was great.

My initial thought would be keep it, as I think, as a child I'd have seen it as unfair and shocking to be told what the life of Uncle Remus would have been like, so a useful tool perhaps.

What I see here is egocentrical behavior, no account of others and their feelings, a cartoon for the age of Facebook and Twitter.

Good thing Disney doesn't own 'Animal House.'
But that film couldn't get made today anyway.

Today’s teens can look forward to something like Good Boys. I cringe at some of the humor in movies from 30-40 years ago, stuff that I thought was hilarious when I was 13. Tastes change.

Some people use words without knowing their definitions.

Where was there entitlement? There wasn't. Some of us *want* the original as that is what we fell in love with. Or *want* the original to be preserved somehow.

Nowhere did I see people writing "we *deserve* the original" or "we are *due* the original". That is entitlement and there is clearly a difference between that and wanting.
