Trades

So, im thinking of trading my woo audio wa-2 headphone/preamp and my Parks audio budgie for a tube phono stage of equal approximate value....

Should i try to sell them individually or try to make a trade here on the Forums?

If i want to try a trade, which forum would i use?

Any help is appreciated

I almost have never gone for trades. Why?

Firstly, I usually know exactly what I want and the chances of having someone interested in obtaining what I have who happens to own what I want and who's OK with losing that item are almost nil.

Second, what if there's an issue and the whole thing would be void? Assuming both parties would agree, now 2 things need to be reshipped which is a huge PITA.

Thirdly, trades are hard to regulate. There's no real recourse if something goes wrong. No PayPal protection or anything.

So I always sell and then buy. My personal experience is trades are a waste of time. Might even have money left over after selling and buying, too!
