How is that possible? You've heard "One Of Us", surely. Not that I would suggest that is representative of her work, but it was all over the place for a year or so.

Interesting. I never really listened to it except the episode about Ed.

Saw Jackie Greene just killing it as lead guitarist in Chris Robinson's As the Crow Flies band Saturday in LA. at the Beach Festival.
Green also played a few songs with Robinson and Bob Weir in Weir's set.

Not sure when she officially joined, but Amber Woodhouse is now a member of Trigger Hippy, filling the Joan Osborne role. I hadn't heard of her before, but here's a clip of her that was posted in an other thread.

Ed Jurdi (Band Of Heathens) is taking the Jackie Greene slot. I was really disappointed that Joan and Jackie, but I like Band Of Heathens and what I've heard of Amber sounds good, so I'm somewhat optimistic. Supposedly new album in October.

What about the stuff they wrote/recorded with Joan that they never released?
They supposedly had the 2nd album in the can more than a year ago that they never released because they couldn't tour to support it.

    Yes, love that first album.

I really enjoyed Jackie and Joan’s contributions to the band and thought their vocals were a perfect match for each other. That being said, this band seems to be a bit of a revolving door situation anyway, so I’m excited to hear what this new lineup (with the same great rhythm section) will do. I will happily support them and look forward to buying the album.

Nick Gorvik and Steve Gorman are the Robinson Brothers of this outfit it seems, eh?

I guess that drum set use to belong to Jaimoe when he played with Otis Redding. I did not know that - Steve had a post about it the other day.

Everything I've heard from this album so far is excellent. I'll be buying this for sure.

I like the new song quite a bit. Was really saddened the Jackie Greene/Joan Osborne version of the lineup ended, but I'm optimistic for the new incarnation.

I was more wondering who their audience is. Neither of them have a famous name and Gorman hasn't been playing for some time right?

I'm their audience, I guess. I had never heard of Amber, but I was already a fan of Band Of Heathens, so I'm familiar with Ed Jurdi. I think he's a good replacement/addition.
