Trying to remember a 1960s TV show

I think it might have been called America. It was in color when most shows were BW. Kind of a travelogue, each episode about a city (or state?). Had an early evening time slot. I am thinking that the host was somebody like Bob Barker, but my memory is very hazy. Anybody remember a show like that?

 

Need more detail and specificity, someone here remembers, maybe me.

Must have been syndicated. Nothing like it on the network grids for that period.

 

In the '60s in southern California there was a show called "The Happy Wanderers". Could this be it? In this clip of Huell Houser's show at 4:00 minutes in it shows a clip of the original show...

No. The Happy Wanderers was the right period. Definitely not Kuralt.

The show I am remembering was definitely circa 1964-65. Not a children's show. Somewhat similar to Rick Steves, but US instead of Europe.
