Turntable in "Indecent Proposal"

    This movie's on Cinemax tonight. I was pretty impressed when Herbie Hancock was playing piano in Robert Redford's suite when Demi Moore entered. However, the turntable he had in his house was really incredible. Anyone know the brand?

    If I remember correctly it was a VPI TNT. Did it have a linear tracking tonearm? I seem to also remember that it had an ET-II tonearm. That is the setup I have.

    I don't think it was a linear tracker. I just looked at some VPI photos and it seems like the HR-X. Were those (or a similar model) around in 1993?

    So do we know what cartridge was mounted on the arm?

    It was an older VPI TNT (Mk. III?) with slave pulleys working together with the motor pulley.
