Turntable Upgrade Advice

    It's ok that you weren't trolling, but did you not read my reply? Do you have anything substantial to say?

    So is a car, really. Fuel, air, transmission, wheels - simple!

    But seriously, you can approach turntables in a simple manner. You won't get out of them what they are capable of, but I would be willing to bet that most rooms and systems probably wouldn't reveal those changes anyway.

    And lastly, complexity and flexibility doesn't have to cost a fortune. My turntable is $800 and will run circles around any other belt drive up to the 3 and 4k range and offers adjustability in VTA, VTF, Azimuth, Pivot Height and Platter Height. Few if any other tables do the same and only maybe one even comes close to the same price. I know because I've owned those too. And funny enough, the $800 table IS simple. But also complex at the same time. Go figure.

    Just randomly throwing money at it is simple and has nothing to do with complexity.
