tweak for those that tried the pillow

i had read about the pillow experiment and due to constraints on my system tried something last night that worked quite well.

you know that bubble wrap (used to protect goods when you post it) well i doubled some of that up and put it under my pre-amp. well would you believe it less smeared bass and treble. now this is subltle, unlike isolating your turntable or CD player, but definate improvement. of course it helped that my amps are naim which are not very heavy so not likely to pop the bubble wrap but at least it is easy to level and not as unsightly as some tweaks.
