You're living in another dimension...a dimension of high prices...a dimension of cold...a dimension of imports...

I've said many times before that the actual costs for producing a boxed set like this are not that high. There's no reason to charge hundreds of dollars for it; there's only a handful of people alive who are getting significant residuals. Dick Van Dyke had 158 half-hour episodes, and I think $1 per hour is reasonable, which would've been $75 for the Blu-ray box. Twilight Zone had 156 episodes, 18 of which were 1 hour, so that's a little longer; $90 for the entire series on Blu-ray would be reasonable. Again: it's a 50-year-old show! I think the copyright holders are terribly greedy with shows like this, given that the discs themselves are under a buck apiece to manufacture, and the mastering costs are minimal (maybe 5 hours per episode, tops).

I bought mine new from Amazon in Oct. 2014 for $91.99. I guess that was a good price back then. I am sure some probably found it cheaper, but...

I saw it for less than that the other day at Wal-Mart. Whether this is the new repackage or an older version, I'm not sure. Kind of surprised me.

Indeed...amazing...I can see this going for $60.00 or less...much better than the $400.00+ list for the image set!

Looks like new packaging for the Blu-Ray discs at a reduced price: around $100 at amazon.com for a new complete series release next month.

I bought most of the very first DVD single disc issues for about $10 each... when that was an amazing deal. Then I bought the complete box on DVD when that was discounted.

I skipped the Blu-ray... But it looks like it's only a matter of time before they get me again...

  23. For us above the 49th Jerry, that's about $114 CDN before shipping and duty.

Amazon Canada is showing the set as an import at the pre-oder price if $119.10. Pretty good for us, as they will be no shipping charge.

A number of U.S. sites such as Bull Moose, Barnes & Nobles and Wal-Mart won't ship to Canada.

Is it certain that everything in the 1st blu-ray edition is included in this new edition? Just want to make sure.
