Just put the pre-order for Andrew Hill Point of Departure in my cart and tried to check out.
Got a message that it didn't meet the minimum order. How much is the minimum?

EDIT - Doesn't work even with 4 copies in my cart, over $100.

That's their broken-website-way of telling you that the coupon isn't eligible for that item.

 

That’s the message you get when stuff isn’t included in the sale. It would be helpful if it actually said that.

I got the 25%, but it won't let me use it on the Revolver set. Comes back with an error

 

It works at SoundOfVinyl, but apparently not at UDiscover.

 

Gotta look at the fine print. A bunch of titles are listed as exempt from sales.

 

Yeah I guess they’d rather we buy them from somewhere else than buy them at a discounted price.

Anything I've tried to order from them in the last couple months has not been eligible for discount so I've pretty much have given up. I'll wait until the economy swings and they have to start discounting things again

 

Yeah, unless there's some sort of ~40% off sale for the holidays, I don't think I'll be doing ordering from them any time soon.

 

I'm in the same boat. The sales are great when they are useful, but I've had too many returns lately, and their return process is cumbersome, usually asking for photos.

 

If this black friday sale is a bust then ill be done with them. I have $21 in rewards, ill spend it on a BNC and pay $6 for it and be done with it

 

Sadly, if there is a Black Friday sale of note, you’ll be unlikely to combine it with your rewards points. That ship has apparently sailed…

I can’t tell any rhyme or reason for what is included in the sale and what isn’t. The new Grant Green and Kenny Burrell Tone Poets are but Blue Train isn’t. From Verve Acoustic Sounds, Ella and Louis Again is but We Get Requests isn’t. None of the 3-4 BNCs I tried are.

 

It's probably just (a) is it selling well? (b) is it a pre-order?

if the answer is yes to either, no discount.

 

Fwiw, the HOLIDAY code DOES work for Revolver at SoundOfVinyl (US), knocking the price down to $140. It does NOT work at UDiscover (US).
Those who want other restricted vinyl goodies might try SoV, if you're feeling bold.
