My dad played that one a lot when I was a youth. I remember liking it. Haven't heard it since '98 maybe...
Not to be all TMI, but I had a lengthy...encounter with a "friend" today. Neil Young's "Re-ac-tor" was playing when the fun began. Left Foobar open and the music playing and the El Dorado EP was goin' when we parted ways.... I think it was an interesting day, lol
A horrible, dehumanizing way to refer to someone by the way....so needless to say just kidding, even if it is more or less the long and short of whatever happened...
Its all good. Im off the road right now. She is very much NOT a lot lizard Also, all hail Dopesmoker!!
Today it's random live U2 I'm restarting my U2 collection after a hard drive death. I've been in a U2 mood this week (played their whole discography on Thursday and Friday) and can' get enough right now. Gotta say, listening to 2018 shows is finally making me want to listen to the 2 most recent studio albums. The guys are on FIRE lately! At least if bootleg audience recordings and IEM scanner sources are to be believed
I hear the guitars ringing out there Ringing out down Union Street I hear the lead singer shouting out, girl Now I wanna be a slave to the beat Yeah tonight I wanna break my chains Somebody break my heart, somebody shake my brains Downtown there's something that I wanna hear There's a sound, little girl, keeps ringing in my ear I wanna be where the bands are I wanna be where the bands are (where the bands are) Where the bands are I wanna be where the bands are (where the bands are) Springsteen 1979 outtake recorded for the River
I play the River outtakes way more than the actual album. He shoulda just made a killer power pop record. I always get halfway through The River and then somewhere around track 9 or 10 it starts getting depressing for me
Yes, to much fillers and slow ballads. If Steve Van Zandt had got his mind through it would have been a one hell of a rocking record. Those outtakes that are available on Tracks and on bootlegs are great
Next time you're on the road and passing through Casper, WY, you can stop at the Hat Six Travel Center for an adult beverage.

Stormy Monday Blues Kenny Burrell Not exactly storming, but some passing rain in the desert this morning is a delight.
