Piece of GD trivia you all know already: Jerry took the melody of "Uncle John's Band" from a recording of Bulgarian music.

    Plastic Letters. Blondie, 1978.

Not as interesting as the debut album, but very good anyway.

Gene Clark & Carla Olson So Rebellious A Lover Gene goes out with a bang, if somewhat diluted by Olson's contributions (which are nevertheless pretty good). "Gypsy Rider" and "Del Gato" are latter-day classics, but my favorite thing on here is the devastating reading of "Fair and Tender Ladies".

At times, most notably on “You’ve Got My Mind Messed Up” he could very easily be mistaken for Otis.

Sometimes I think some of the very cool bands of the this era spent more money on the fabulous cover art
than they made on the record sales.

Wish I had some more Tubby. Decided on the ska before I saw this, a combination of the
English Beat's first two... Wha'ppen mon'.

Just acquired the third release 45th , had the two disc, but the full 6 disc makes me happier.
Very excited about disc 4 and the Matrix stand.

Oh my, the heart always skips a beat... my new Velvet Underground 45th 6 disc-er might overtake
my Fully Loaded title as the top shelf prize, unlikely, but it could happen. I even ordered
this (regular sweatshirt/darker charcoal) before the winter and wear it in the house where
nobody, well almost nobody sees it lol... thanks to Covidadaville. Good brood of tuneage
    there adamos.

Gene Clark & Carla Olson Silhouetted in Light good album, not every version surpasses other available version but I always dig the whole thing. Plus "Your Fire Burning"
