Pretty cool that thanks to nugs.net you can see a show and a week later have a beautiful soundboard recording.

    These guys are good.

    John Coltrane.

The new stereo mix is nice, honors the original with more clarity and balance.

Pearl Jam Live On Two Legs. This is a good live album. I used to play it a lot when it was new and it’s fun to revisit it now; it’s probably been years.

    Android Trio: Other Worlds
    2021 Cuneiform Records

Just received this one. An instrumental album produced by Mike Keneally. The trio is augmented by Mike and one other musician playing keyboards on several tracks. The core trio covers drums and synth, bass and 8 string guitar, and electric and acoustic guitars. Other Worlds | Android Trio | Cuneiform Records (bandcamp.com)

  18. David Bromberg, Midnight On the Water released in 75 is a great album. It also features great backing artists like Buddy Cage, Jesse Ed Davis, Dr. John, Bernie Leadon, etc.

Hers a song for lazy mornings:

Neil Young Citizen Kane Jr. Blues - The Bottom Line 1974. It’s a shame the honey slides rap got cut but still a cool addition to the Official Bootleg Series.

an old fox from Rock & Blues.
sometimes more oriented towards blues, sometimes more pop, other times more authentic rock.
But always of taste, VERY GOOD TASTE.
Hoarse voice, passion, excellent instrumentalists, choirs, breath on trumpets and sax.

His albums haven't always been commercial hits, but ... this happens, if you sing more from the heart than for the money ..

Non GD listening in the time between finishing the 72 steamer and the arrival of DP 42 (at last )
Jack Bonus - S/T - RCA/Grunt 1972 Needledrop CDR - Always enjoy this lp even though only 2 stand out songs. Hobo Song and Cold Chicago Wind, just good time music.
Terry Riley - Poppy Nogood etc All Night Flight March 22 1968 Vol 1 - Organ Of Corti 1996 - Surprisingly dynamic music would fit in with the Dead in '68.
Kit Sebastian - Melodi - Mr Bongo 2021 - Excellent 1960's Euro pop retro. 2nd listen but will get more.
Spirit - It Shall Be - Esoteric 2018 - Disc 2 from this set The Model Shop and Clear from 68/69 respectively. Not standout material but the open jazzy sound is what makes this for me.
Bob Dylan - Pure Dylan - Sony 2011 - Suberb compilation of less familiar material.
    Now for # 42

  24. 60’s Garage Rock masters , The Standells , had much more good material than simply being a one hit wonder, that those who have only heard “Dirty Water” may think.

Here’s a song that was the title songtrack from the film, “Riot On Sunset Strip.”

Great Song from a hit collection, as well.
