Side 4 of Richard Thompson, 13 Rivers. This is pretty good. It'a a lot better than the Tweedy-produced Still, but maybe I need to listen to that one again. First listen I was like, "nah." This is a really arty label. It conveys zero information. The other side has the track listing for both sides. Fancy or pain in the ass? You make the call. Now this one: Richard Thompson, Mirror Blue. Remember the Forum rule saying "label your pictures"? I don't think it's enforced. Anyway, this is clear so you can see all the stealies and stuff on my turntable mat. Trippy.
Chris Squire Fish out of Water Double CD. Honestly, I didn't know this album. It may seem strange, for someone who has been buying records for over 50 years, but that's the way it is. I'm a little ashamed, but to my detriment I can say that... Hooo... can't you know everything? Really nice, absolutely yes. Very prog, but still different from the Yes records, of which Chris was the bassist. Beautiful packaging, nice booklet, excellent audio quality (well, Esoteric Recordings is a guarantee, I would say). The two "bonuses" the Run with the fox and "Return" are amazing
One of my all time favorites. It's nice to see that people are still discovering it. Do you know about Jon Anderson's Olias Of Sunhillow?
East of the Valley Blues - Kirkfield Non 2021, Death Is Not The End East of the Valley Blues is Kevin and Patrick Cahill. Mixed and mastered by James A Toth in Toronto. This is great. Mostly electric/acoustic guitar duo with some harp, field recordings, etc. mixed in here and there. Sounds awesome. There are some incredible compilations on this record label too, well worth exploring.
Great picture! I've never been a fan of the all-song-titles-on-one-side thing. I vote pain in the ass.
The Rain Parade - Emergency Third Rail Power Trip. Copying @sami. I remember @warewolf95 loves this one too.
Heck yes. Love the 2nd album in particular I went nuts when I couldn't remember the name of the band and had all you guys helping me to figure it out again

Pretty crazy record... They come out of the gate swinging and don't really let up much along the way. It's like one gigantic peak.
[picture of Led Zeppelin on my turntable] Led Zeppelin I was at the "what used to be heavy metal is now hard rock" thread, and became very frustrated. I didn't like it.
hmm, a feels problem... check out the therapy link that underscores all my posts. disregard Mascot, he's just hating on the competition... < I have more class, that's all
But if I didn’t post anything combative, why do I need therapy? If I’ve contained my anger, it doesn’t need management. I’ve lived too long if Black Sabbath isn’t metal anymore.
Stealers Wheel The A&M Years I'll pull them out, this morning All of them: Stealers Wheel Ferguslie Park Right or Wrong
