You can get the separate volumes, it's cheaper and you won't miss that much. Of course, if you happen to be a hardcore fan, you have no choice
Good call. "The Changeling" has organ funky enough to make you get out of your seat and groove like no other.
I miss those organs. I don't really hear many in new stuff, and it does not nearly have the same grind or bite as some of the older tunes did.
Bout that time again. So here goes. Its the Moby Grape Vintage-The Very Best of Moby Grape 2 CD box set mastered by Vic Anesini. Sounds good for a remaster although I'm not a fan of CDs or remastering. Although the best thing to come out of CDs was/is 78 mins of uninterrupted Dead. .
And because of this you are sayin' that @adamos should listen to you instead of the KC freaks? Do you have money invested here, Sir?

I know the feeling Supposedly there will be a box set of the four Slim Chance-era albums plus this one and extras released this year. I've heard that one before but if this is indeed a fact, count me in and take my money.
Speaking of wives and music, the other day mine casually said, “I like Zappa, but I prefer Garcia.” Which really made me smile because it wasn’t that long ago that she had no idea who either was. And she was a good sport about me playing seven consecutive Roxy Performances discs over a three-day period.
It's nice to hear from other fans of Plonk on this thread. He's definitely my favorite member of The Faces, big or Small...
I have that one, plus One More for the Road and See Me (and assorted live and singles collections), but I've never owned the first two albums because they have either always been so difficult to come by or expensive. It is truly a shame, because they are both great.
Yeah, he was the human side of the whole damn circus. "Debris" is my favorite Faces-track, with "You're So Rude" as a close second
Miles Davis and the Giants of Modern Jazz The 12/24/54 session with Bags, Monk, Percy Heath & Kenny Clarke As great as all these dudes are and what they played during this legendary session what has always stood out for me is Thelonious Monk pure genius level improvising.
Ron's probably a wee bit wasted here, his vocals are really bad, but, he's so damn likeable. And it's a great song!
