if you sent a postal money order, you can get your money back. Simply take the receipt to your local post office and report mail fraud.

 

He's buying it so he can not sell it to someone else, I guess!

I still find it annoying that this member is allowed to buy/sell/post on this forum and yet this issue is not resolved.

It's certainly made me think twice about the safety of buying on this forum. I always felt I could rely on the integrity of seller on the forum but this event and some others have changed my mind for sure.

 

Don't let one rotten apple spoil the whole barrel for you. In 18 months, I have had over 200 transactions, the majority being as a buyer, and I can only point to one negative, and even it was worked out eventually. For the most part, sellers here are exemplary, and honestly treat buyers as they want to be treated themselves.
You only have to pay attention. No Pay Pal ? That's a flashing red light...you'll have no protection in the event something does go wrong. Negative feedback ? Read, and decide for yourself. Pay attention before closing a deal. I'd still rather buy here, than most anywhere else outside of Amazon (whom I love and trust from 5 years' experience).

 

I was burned by this seller but have brought other stuff from other sellers. The mistake was buying from someone without the Paypal protection. Lesson learned.

 

All of us sellers have occasional problems or mislaid items. We just do our best to keep going.

 

It happens and the only difference is how its handled... or not.
