This was up last year. Took place at sir studios at an after show jam following the 1985 carnegie hall appearance with lonnie mack and Roy buchanan. I was at both but I think jaco showed up after we left.
When/where was this taken? Meg has been off the map for a while! Update: Musta been when Manson was on Kilburn in 2001:
Debbie Harry with Rory Gallagher in 1978...I believe Rory was on tour in the States and had a night off in New York so he went to see Blondie, Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels and Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers at the Palladium..Mick Rock took this photo backstage.
Pete Townshend and the Bookshop Band https://www.thebookshopband.co.uk/single-post/2019/03/12/the-best-way-to-start-a-new-album
Great photo, but not neccessarily unexpected, of Rory Gallagher and Jerry Lee Lewis....Assuming that this was taken in London in 1973 when The Killer was recording his double album ' The Session.. Recorded in London with Great Artists.'.....Also along with Rory on the album were Kenney Jones, Albert Lee, Alvin Lee and Peter Frampton.... A year earlier, Rory had recorded on the 'London Muddy Waters Sessions.'
Shame on you, mike, stealing the pic I posted on page 86. There's a search feature that SHF helpfully provides so folks can avoid duplicating previous posts. Here's a pic that hasn't appeared here previously: Charlie Sexton, Stiv Bator, Adam Bomb, Johnny Thunders, Steve Jones
Posting another member's thread from 2007 here, because I remember when he encountered Renaissance's Annie Haslam backstage at a Loreena McKennit show. He posted three pics from that night, one with the three of them. I met Loreena McKennitt AND Annie Haslam tonight!! With those two heavenly sopranos at a meet-and-greet together, it probably raised the ceiling that night!
Two favorites of mine I was not expecting to see together: Ian Hill, bassist of British heavy metal band Judas Priest, and Ron Dante, lead singer of American not-metal not-band The Archies...
Now this proves you're a thief -- I posted this on page 116! Knock it off, Sullie, stop stealing my posts, you damn goniff!
