    I love "Hang Fire". Back in 1981 when Tattoo You first came out one of our local AM stations started playing it right after "Start Me Up" dropped out of the top ten enough that "Hang Fire" got up to #6 on their weekly chart in early November. The single wasn't issued until the following spring and by then it did nothing.

    Tracks aside both cover art and title are of a poor standard for a Stones release as was GRRR.
    It is lopsided with well known & much compiled 70's cuts to help prop it up.
    One poster suggested the comp could span approx 89'-19' which is both a brave (for the Stones) and intriguing idea.
