In 2015, "Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli bought for $2 million at auction, “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin,” an album that Wu-Tang Clan issued only one copy of, with the buyer to control who could hear it.

Then Shkreli forfeited his copy of the album to the feds when he was sentenced for securities fraud.

The feds have now sold the album, but is not disclosing the buyer or the price, under a confidentiality clause in the sale contract.

He don’t look like a gangsta to me.

Then again, looks alone can be deceiving.

I'm glad this album is no longer in danger. (At least, I hope so.) Here's hoping the buyer does what our friend @AlanDistro did with the one-of-a-kind Steven Wilson song and upload it in the highest quality for everyone to enjoy. That should be easier than doing a hi-res needledrop and cleaning it up!

I hope the Feds gave it a wet vacuum cleaning and a new inner sleeve.

The kicker is that, when you play, it’s just a needle drop copy of Barbra Streisand’s The Broadway album.
