Used B&W HTM1 or new B&W HTM71 S2?

Used HTM1 or new HTM71 S2?
Currently have 804N fronts, LCR6 S2 center, CCM7.5 rears in ceiling, AS6 Subwoofer. While it’s been a great system, I’ve got a bug up my rear to get something new.
Looking to possibly change the center as I believe it’s the weak link in the system (according to what I’ve read on forums.
Local seller has a used HTM1 (asking$1295) which he says is in excellent shape. I will have to see it and listen to it.
This is the center channel I probably should have had all along as it matches the fronts.
Nevertheless, is it worth that money (It’s obviously an old model) or do I go for a new HTM71 S2 for essentially the same price.
Not going to spend $4k for a HTM2 D3.
Listen to mostly music.
