used DCC gold at Acoustic Sounds...

I haven't received an email telling me I didn't get anything...so maybe I did? We'll see...

 

The other problem is that Acoustic Sounds doesn't state the condition of its used gold discs. I know a forum member who got a few used DCC gold discs from them last fall, and one arrived with a spindle crack. This was not stated on their web site.

 

I've gotten some trashed gold discs from wherehouse.com but I just send them back.

 

Check your spam/junk folder. Mine wound up there, maybe because they sent the message by bcc.

 

My Sonny Rollins "Tenor Madness" arrived today, Mint condition. Still had the shrink on the slipcase. Not a steal at $50, but not bad either.

 

I recieved my "Ringo" and Gerry Rafferty "City to City" Dcc's today!
Both in mint condition with slipcases and shrink still over the boxes and opened on one side.

Just for completeness, my Al Green GREATEST HITS order was cancelled, a bit too late on the draw. Oh well.

 

I snagged the Ray Charles C and W hits. Mint. I wonder who got that Ella Fitzgerald? I still haven't found a really true mint of that title and that was a good price if it was in the same condition as the Ray I received.

 

Yep, that Ella was a SMOKIN' DEAL at $95.00. It didn't last long.

 

I just received an order confirmation for my purchase of an MFSL CD of The Moody Blues Question of Balance.

Somehow, I never knew that title had been released on a GOLD CD.
