I used to LOVE Plastic Fantastic! I would throw my sister in the car and make her go with me, which she had no objection to since the place was so cool. I have a lot of vinyl regrets there, things I passed on thinking they would be there forever. I bought my friend, now wife, a copy of Zappa in New York over there. We moved within walking distance for a short while right before they moved.

They now have a place down the road called Gold Million Records although the stock is much smaller and they don't have used CD's anymore. Although I haven't been there in about 2 years so maybe they expanded a bit,

Was that the one in Levittown shopping center VeeFan64? I haven't been there in years. Didn't know the owner passed away. If that's the place I'm thinking of.

The Levittown center was destroyed, and then Forever relocated about two blocks away.

Yeah, that's the one. He was fairly young. The owner. Natural causes do you know? Just curious.

Just found a new one to me, been there 3 1/2 years: Long In The Tooth, 2027 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. Lots of new vinyl.

Any more suggestions for used vinyl shopping? I'm staying near Independence National Park. I'm especially interested in jazz, but any good vinyl stores will be great. Thanks

Thanks for the tips. Was really hoping to go to jaz sound. But they are closed tomorrow and oh ad a full day this weekend. Aka music is a cool place. Nothing great for vinyl, but I qa surprised to find some uncommon CDs for cheap. Nice guy working there too

  10. Didn't Plastic Fantastic split in two:

I never like Plastic Fantastic's habit of not pricing and having to haggle
