Makes sense, and I am not looking forward to it.
    Or, all the bickering.
Or, the howling on this board by record shippers and purchasers, as if this were the most critical parcels ever to undergo the increases.

Lex Luthor could not have engineered this scenario more to his liking if he had tried.

It does say retail customers are unaffected. Meaning you can stand in line at the 'window' longer, wearing your mask and gloves.

This went into effect today. 2 pound priority cubic went up around .90 or so. FCM about .40. Enjoy the thrill of it all.

Media Mail is the same as it was.

Media mail didn't go up. Nothing to howl about.

In fact, have ya noticed the way the "howling" has gone down, once it became apparent to most of the public, that the USPS has never been the bad guy, there is overwhelming support for our Postal Service, and it became obvious nobody is buying-into their manufactured rage? In fact, it seems the only one I'm seeing consistently ramping up the rage...is the one person who wanted a Postmaster General who tried to dismantle this increasingly-supported institution...right before "various events" which rely on the Post Office to faithfully deliver "various items" during the latter weeks of October, and early into November...? ;)

So now everything you buy will go up more than 40 cents, since this is hitting everyone who ships via USPS, and they'll add overhead on top of that.

And expect FedEx and UPS to follow suit, because...why not?

$3.33 to send an album. $24 overseas. Nothing changes.

Media Mail did not change. $3.33 is a 2 pound MM price.

Point being, it's a temporary increase...and then, once it goes back to the normal rates...will FedEx and UPS follow that suit as well...or, will they just keep the increase high, and continue to blame it on the Post Office...?
